utilitarian Ethics

You believe in the Greatest Happiness Principle in which actions are right in proportion as they tend to promote happiness and wrong as they tend to produce the reverse of happiness. The ends justify the means for you as long as the most people are happy. You seek to benefit humanity by your actions.

The Bad: This perspective means that while a large number of people will be happy in the end, a few could be hurt in the process.

John Stuart Mill is a huge figure in this perspective and you can learn more about Utilitarianism here!
